catching up

So I'm a little behind on my blogging :( so lets do some catching up. The other day I was blessed with getting to photograph a sweet 16 birthday party.... so partying with a bunch of teenagers is always interesting, God help me when my daughter gets to that age lol.

We are currently in the the middle of a fantastic winter storm and freeze, my dog is sick and my husband is in the hospital 45 min from home and I'm stuck at home with two very anxious kids....... thought this would be a good time to catch up on my blog ha ha and post a few pictures:)

A Good Snow Day

Getting things done

So today and yesterday has been a long grueling process of getting things done small easy to forget little things.... when will it end, I want to get it all done so that I can do nothing or some thing fun at least and have time to do it with a clear mind lol.made lots of phone calls today and yesterday order lots of products for clients and got lots of laundry done! I feel like I'm making head way but am I? every time I turn around some thing else is popping up! and the snow ball keeps rolling down the hill as my to do list gets bigger.... took this picture of my dog gunner the other day and just fell in love with it!hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!

This winter has been very strange this year still no snow and we are coming into mid January!!!! I love the cold and the snow so I'm looking forward to when it finally decide to show its pretty little face! A day of sledding just sounds so wonderful at the moment! I would love to get some ice princess pictures of my daughter playing in the snow and of course my son doing what boys do best throwing snow balls trying to beam his sister in the back of the head, hahah yeah it is so needing to snow!!

a deep love for beautiful things

I spent my day yesterday with a dear friend who has recently started making beautiful hair pieces for photo props. We spent the whole afternoon fussing over my idea of what I wanted to use in my photos,after a long afternoon I came home to put this new product to the test!so I dolled up my daughter and did a mini session of her. She was so brave in the wind and the cold she loved every second of it.Our out come of all this work and fruffying.... what a great word fruffying lol if that's even how you would spell it??? any ways here's a few shots of what all our hard work resulted in....Enjoy
